Adam photographed our wedding in March 2020 and wow!! We absolutely love our photos and Adam was incredible on the day. We also had a pre shoot with Adam so that my husband and I felt comfortable on our wedding day. Adam is so professional but also so easy going that we forgot someone was taking our picture! Highly highly recommend Adam.

It seems unfair that I can only give Adam 5 stars for his work on and leading up to our wedding day at The Officers Mess.  Adam has the perfect personality for the job - he is relaxed, has a great sense of humour and an eye for seeing things that will make fantastic pictures.  Adam made us feel completely at ease and had scouted some gorgeous locations ahead of our wedding day.  I cannot speak highly enough of him and his wife Julz (second shooter on the day), who managed to capture lots of natural moments being shared between us and our friends and family - we are so lucky to have so many gorgeous photos to remember one of the best days of our lives!  Thank you so much!

Villa Maria

Adam is a photographer who captures memories not just pictures, who captures the small things that are really the BIG things in life.  We had the pleasure of engaging Adam to be our photographer for our wedding held at Villa Maria Estate 25th November 2016.  We were in awe of Adam’s artistic ability to handle even the toughest conditions and situations - and effortlessly.  No matter how tense the situation, Adam made sure ourselves and our guests enjoyed the experience with a laugh and smile.  Adam is more than a photographer he is a professional artist who could have been a lifelong family friend attending our wedding.  Our family enjoyed him, our kids enjoyed him, we enjoyed him.  Adam would be your greatest asset at your wedding you will not be disappointed by the experience.  

Mantells On The Water

BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER! Adam brilliantly captured not only who we were as a couple but also our incredible wedding day at Mantells. We are not particularly comfortable being the subject of photos but Adam and his awesomeness made the whole experience a total blast and really really easy. We didn't want the formal posy photos and Adam took that on board and crafted some truly amazing photos. He was amazing with our pup Charlie and we now have some super cute photos with him on our special day. I don't feel like Adam was our photographer - I feel like he's our friend who happens to be a bloody genius with a camera. There aren't enough adjectives to adequately describe how ridiculously talented, professional, friendly, creative and funny Adam is, so I'll finish with the fact that I am sooo thankful that we were able to book him for our wedding and can not wait to book him in for future photo shoots.

Best decision ever having Adam as our wedding photographer!! From the first meeting his friendly, easygoing nature combined with seeing his previous work, which we loved, made us sure he'd be the perfect fit for our wedding. Leading up to & on the day Adam was brilliant. He had so many creative ideas & we now have a stunning selection of photos in a range of different settings that we absolutely love! The mix of posed photos as well as many great candid shots is superb & all our friends & family are raving about Adam's outstanding work! We now have the very hard task of deciding which ones to frame, there are so many favourites we may have to cover a whole wall!! Adam provided an exemplary service. He was a thoughtful photographer who produced thoughtful, story-telling images. In the lead up to the day, Adam took the time to answer all of our questions, many of which had nothing to do with his field of photography, and worked with us so that we were comfortable in front of the camera. We appreciated that he had thoroughly scouted out the wedding locations beforehand and had mapped out a plan of where we would have the best chance of getting that "perfect shot". On the day, Adam was creative and comfortable to work with, helping us to relax, have fun and enjoy the experience. The photos of the wedding itself were stunning and captured the love and happiness of everyone present, with Adam being particularly attentive to discovering small moments of joy being shared around the room. Adam works incredibly hard to produce images that you will cherish for a lifetime and we have every enthusiasm in recommending him as your wedding photographer.

Castaways Resort

Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions when planning a wedding. Once the champagne stops flowing and life gets back to normal you are left with only captured moments and memories on film, finding the right photographer to trust to do that can be a challenge, and we were so lucky that we found Adam.

My husband and I had a specific type of candid photography we wanted to capture our day and struggled to find someone that measured up. Thankfully while busy googling one evening I stumbled across Adam, and it’s safe to say we are incredibly glad that we did!

From the moment we met Adam we knew he was the right decision. His easy going, and witty nature fitted in well with us and we locked him in immediately!

On the day, Adam was calm and professional and did an incredible job of juggling our wedding party which consisted of a bunch of boys (AKA grown men!) bride and children!

The finished product -Our photos, are truly spectacular, he captured every moment, smile, awkward speech and weird dance move that was on offer and gave us memories that will last a lifetime.

Adam was by far the best decision we made in the planning of our wedding and cannot thank him enough. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

Right from the start we knew Adam would be the perfect photographer for our wedding day.  He was just as excited as we were about our wedding at Villa Maria, and now we know why.  He did an even better job than we thought was possible!  Adam is professional, approachable, funny and flexible with managing specific shots and locations.  Many of our guests commented on his work and we are so happy with all of our photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.  We can't recommend him highly enough!

Sorrento in the Park, Auckland

From our first meeting with Adam we knew our wedding photos were in good hands.  He is friendly, professional and has a good sense of humour - the type of person that puts you at ease immediately.  For our wedding we had a typical western wedding ceremony and reception on the Saturday, and a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony the day before (two very different events over two days).  It was an absolute pleasure having Adam at both days, and both shoots were stress-free and relaxed.  On both days Adam captured the special moments as they happened rather than staging cliched poses.  We especially loved the fact that Adam had taken the time to scope out the venues and locations beforehand to get new ideas for our photo shoots.  This, combined with his artistic and creative eye, made our photos not only beautiful, but unique.  We also really appreciated having a pre-wedding test shoot to get us comfortable in front of the camera - and the 'test' photos were amazing!  When we received the final set of photos we were absolutely blown away.  Adam photographed both days beautifully, and really captured the character and essence of each day perfectly.  We really couldn't be happier with the photos.  We would highly recommend Adam to anyone getting married.  You won't find a better wedding photographer!

Adam was friendly and approachable from the start.  He took the time to meet us for a coffee so we could meet up with him and find out if we would all click and also to get a sense of Chris and I's relationship and who we were as a couple and as individuals.  Adam then met us later for a pre wedding shoot, he took time taking us to locations he had thought of and also wanted to try.  We spent a few hours doing this and it was so helpful as Adam gave us tips in order to get the most out of our shoot.  On the day Adam couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and he had great ideas and the photos turned out more amazing than we could have expected.  Adam captured what our relationship was all about and every part of the day that mattered and was important and special to both of us.  He was so accommodating and helped us to all relax and have a great time during the photos.  He helped to make it fun and such an enjoyable and memorable day for us and we would thoroughly recommend him.

Finding a photographer to capture the essence of one of life’s most special days is a big decision.  From the moment we contacted Adam we felt 100% confident that we had made the right choice for our wedding.  He was prompt in his communication, listened to what was important to us & had plenty of ideas of his own.  We planned our Auckland wedding from our home in the South Island & Adam was very accommodating in fitting a test shoot into our tight time schedule once we arrived in Auckland.  It was evident that Adam had spent time scouting out photography locations prior to the wedding, which helped the photography session run smoothly & to the time schedule on the day.  It was such a pleasure to have both Adam and Julia as part of our day.  They fitted into the day seamlessly, were professional and even provided dress and veil assistance during the photo shoot in Cornwall Park (thanks Julia).  We felt Adam truly went above and beyond to capture our wedding day.  Last but not least… our photos are stunning.  We are so proud of them and have been told by countless people how amazing they are.  Adam and Julia have true talent behind the camera.  We are so thankful we had Adam photograph our wedding.  We really could not have asked for better.
