Stupid rain… okay, now that I’ve said my piece, let’s get down to business.

Cerys and Alex are exactly why I love what I do. I had the absolute privilege of capturing their engagement shoot out at Muriwai Beach over a year ago—back when the sun was actually showing off (yes, still a little stuck on that). From the very start, they were complete naturals, radiating a kind of joy and connection that made everything feel effortless, fun, and beautifully spontaneous.

So it’s safe to say I’d been looking forward to their wedding day—and it, and they, did not disappoint. Even though it turned out to be the wettest wedding day I’ve ever experienced, it didn’t dampen a single moment. The joy, the energy, the love—everything shone through. Everyone brought their A-game, and together it made for an unforgettable celebration.
