Bridgette & Nick's Wedding

Settlers Country Manor

Bridgette and Nick's winter wedding was a charming mix of regal and countryside vibes.  My wife Julz 'ooh'ed and 'ah'ed at Bridgette's gown and stole (I had no idea what that was but you learn something new every day!) and loved the classic style of the whole wedding party.  There is something special about getting married in winter and it suited this down-to-earth couple perfectly.  On my drive home from the wedding I couldn't stop smiling at the many funny moments I had with the bridal party; in fact the entire feel amongst the guests was so relaxed and jovial that I barely felt I had worked at all.

The venue itself had stunning antique features, lovely warm lighting and a favourite of mine - a huge open fire place.  Not to mention the surrounding grounds offered plenty of romantic and natural spots close by to capture Bridgette and Nick enjoying their first hours of married life; of course the challenge was getting the boys away from the golf carts.

Another stroke of genius from the bride and groom was hiring the incomparable celebrant/entertainer extraordinaire Aaron Bloomfield - he is always a hit.  Congratulations Bridgette and Nick on a wonderful wedding, thanks for having me along to join in the fun.
